About

I am a Research Associate at the Robert Schuman Centre (RSC). At the RSC, I work in the Knowledge, Governance, and Transformations (KGT) research area. I also coordinates GlobalStat, an aggregated data portal that provides tools for analyzing statistics on social, political, economic, environmental, and sustainability variables worldwide, as well as the Applied Data Science for Social Research Working Group.

I earned a PhD at the University of Trento, where I studied transboundary natural resources governed in conditions of scarcity. My research primarily focuses on human-environment interactions, employing an interdisciplinary approach that has allowed me to develop expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods.

I have an MA in International Relations and Security from the University of Bologna, and an MA in Sustainable Development, Geopolitics of Natural Resources, and Arctic Studies from the Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale (SIOI).
